Role description
A growing healthcare and pharmaceutical organisation is embarking on a major cloud and data modernisation programme.
They require an AWS Data Engineer to join them on a contractor-to-hire engagement.
This role will focus on building scalable cloud-native ETL pipelines and supporting the growth of a modern AWS Data Lake environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain scalable ETL and data pipeline solutions within AWS
• Develop and optimise cloud-native data engineering workflows using AWS Glue
• Support Snowflake data warehousing and enterprise Data Lake initiatives
• Improve data reliability, scalability, and performance across cloud platforms
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to support enterprise-wide data consumption
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong AWS data engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience building ETL pipelines and cloud-based data workflows
• Strong knowledge of AWS Glue and serverless ETL tooling
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
Contract Details:
• Duration: Contractor-to-hire engagement
• Fully remote
