Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead AWS Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in DynamoDB, AWS, SQL, and Python to design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep AWS expertise and a proven background leading data engineering initiatives.
Key Requirements:
12+ years overall IT experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, DynamoDB, and SQL
Expert-level Python / PySpark for ETL and data processing
Strong experience with AWS Glue (jobs, crawlers, workflows)
Deep expertise in DynamoDB data modeling, performance tuning, and streams
Solid AWS services knowledge: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, Kinesis
Experience with Postman for API testing
Proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and CloudFormation/Terraform
Nice to Have:
Leadership or mentoring experience
Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms
