Role description
I am hiring for AWS Data Engineer
Location: Manchester - Hybrid / 2-3 days per week in Office
• Strong commercial experience in data engineering and software development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, or equivalent cloud-based technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid understanding of modern data pipeline architecture and implementation.
• Experience with data quality validation, testing, and assurance practices.
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional certifications in AWS, cloud platforms, DevOps, or related technologies are advantageous.
