Role description
Must Haves:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing within AWS
• Need to be familiar with CloudFormation, Azure Devops and Ansible for our deployment pipeline
• Need to be familiar with Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB for development.
• Experience with .Net Core as the preferred language for Lambda development.
• Python would be a bonus.
• Need to be familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, for monitoring and alerting stack (Be familiar so they do not create a gap, making sure the new things they are building has the appropriate monitor, then follow up with configuring triggers and adding new time series data from Prometheus to have a single world view of the application.
A Brief Overview
Looking for a Cloud Engineer with a deep knowledge of the AWS stack with a serverless focus. This role would be responsible for building out infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Azure DevOps, writing code in .NET Core, and supplementing monitoring using Prometheus and CloudWatch. The Engineer should be familiar with serverless patterns and architecture with a focus on event driven patterns to support highly scalable and resilient applications.
