β’ Work involves existing product systemsβenhancements and potentially new feature development.

β’ Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications using Node.js, React, and AWS.
β’ Serve as a technical expert on development projects.
β’ Participate in full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
β’ Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
β’ Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
β’ Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
β’ Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
β’ Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Requirements
β’ 8+ years of experience developing Backend solutions using AWS serverless components.
β’ 4+ of Node.js experience and building AWS lambda functions.
β’ Build high-quality code following unit testing and test-driven development
β’ High level of proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js (we use AWS Lambda a lot)
β’ Experience with multiple AWS services including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDb, CloudFormation, Step, S3, DocumentDb, API Gateway, etc.
β’ Hands on with Java/Python/C# is required.
β’ Experience developing and testing RESTful APIs
β’ Monitoring, Metrics, and Auditing, AWS CloudWatch (Metrics, Logs, Alarms, Synthetics), EventBridge, CloudTrail, SNS.
β’ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting, including partnering with business analysts, other developers, and testers, and implementing solutions related to the creative process
β’ Experience with third-party APIs and Web Services, API Gateways
β’ Understanding of container technologies like Docker
β’ Experience with code management tools like Git, GitHub
β’ Understanding of spec-driven development and experience with swagger.
