Role description
We are seeking AWS Developer (Serverless & Data Integration)
Location: Hybrid (Oakland, CA 2 days/week onsite: Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in a data-centric environment (e.g.,Business Systems Analyst or Developer role).
Strong hands-on experience with Lambda, Glue Studio, Step Functions, Glue Data Catalog, SNS, and SQS.
High proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting, data manipulation, and validation.
Deep understanding of Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, and ETL concepts, particularly for organizations with multiple source systems.
Working knowledge of IAM roles, CloudWatch monitoring, and security best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
Familiarity with financial systems (accounting, payroll, budget/planning).
AWS certifications (Developer, Data Analytics, or Solutions Architect).
Prior experience in higher education or complex enterprise environments
