AWS DevOps Engineer

100% Remote

Long-term contract

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS services and related DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

   • Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure

   • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions

   • Use Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for AWS CDK

   • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker

   • Maintain and administer Linux-based systems

   • Write efficient Python scripts for automation and tooling (not application development)

   • Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability

Required Skills:

   • 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps roles

   • Strong expertise in Docker and Linux administration

   • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions preferred

   • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code; CDK preferred

   • Ability to write clear, functional Python scripts for infrastructure automation

   • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and security best practices
