Role description
Core Responsibilities: Architect & build scalable, highly available application solutions leveraging AWS services. Secure and deploy AWS serverless architecture applications. Advise and implement cloud best practices based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Collaborate across teams to improve build, integration, and release processes. Technical Expertise: Hands-on familiarity with orchestration tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform, with a strong "automate-first" and "automate-everything" mindset. Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab, including the development of pipelines and jobs. Strong experience in DevOps best practices and software application lifecycle/release processes. Expertise in containerized application deployment using ECS and EKS. Hands-on familiarity with Terraform and CDK (Cloud Development Kit) is a plus. Tools and Technologies: Experience with tools like SonarQube, Artifactory, and NodeJS. Experience with SSO/SAML, including identity providers such as Okta. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages. Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, with experience in configuring and administering integrations. Deployment and Scalability: Experience delivering and deploying scalable, high-performance web applications. Expertise in blue/green deployments and A/B testing practices. Experience deploying NodeJS applications using npm and yarn packaging managers. Hands-on experience deploying NodeJS and AWS Lambda functions using serverless frameworks. Performance and Monitoring: Exposure to performance testing/tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools. Continuously improve processes, technologies, and applications to provide maximum business value. Additional Qualifications: Experience in implementing AWS SecDevOps best practices is a strong advantage. Strong adherence to Agile development methodologies. Candidates having AWS Certifications are highly preferred.
