What you'll be doing:
• Building scalable data pipelines on AWS
• Developing event-driven, serverless solutions
• Working with modern lakehouse and data engineering architectures
• Collaborating with engineering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes
• Contributing to high-quality engineering practices including testing, CI/CD and code reviews
Core tech we're looking for:
• Python
• PySpark
• SQL
• AWS Lambda
• AWS Glue
• Athena
• Event-driven architectures
• Data streaming pipelines
Nice-to-have experience:
• EMR, S3, DynamoDB
• Step Functions
• MWAA / Airflow
• EventBridge
• SNS/SQS
• Kinesis

• Teradata
Core Details:
• Remote with occasional travel to Liverpool (typically 2-3 days onsite when required)
• 6-month rolling contract
• Multiple hires across Engineer, Senior and Lead level
If you're an AWS Data Engineer who enjoys building modern, cloud-native data platforms and wants to work on programmes with genuine business impact, I'd be keen to speak.
