AWS Engineer

Job Title: AWS Engineer - Network & Server Experience Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite- 5 days a week) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in server and network management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS EC2 installation, deployment, and configuration, along with experience in network connections and asset discovery. Key Responsibilities: • Account Discovery Implementation: Work on implementing account discovery for various assets across the network. • AWS EC2 Management: Install, deploy, and configure EC2 instances to support asset connection and discovery. • Network Establishment: Establish and manage connections between networks to facilitate asset discovery. • Software & Database Configuration: Install and configure necessary software and databases on EC2 instances to connect with assets such as Linux servers and database systems. • Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with stakeholders, including firewall, networking, and cloud teams, to resolve connectivity and asset discovery challenges. • Cross-Functional Communication: Engage with various teams and effectively use tools, including ticketing and follow-up processes, to ensure smooth operations and asset management. Qualifications: • Proven experience with AWS EC2 and network management. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams. • Telecom experience is preferred. (Previous T-Mobile experience) • Familiarity with asset discovery processes and tools is required. • Experience in working with Cyber Security is considered an advantage To apply victor.p@americanunit.com
