Role description
AWS Lambda Developer with python Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Lambda Engineer to design, develop, and optimize serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related AWS services. You will work with a team of cloud engineers and developers to build scalable, event-driven microservices and integrations for cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, and other AWS services. β€’ Write clean, efficient, and well-tested Node.js / Python / Java code for Lambda functions. β€’ Integrate Lambda functions with event sources and other AWS services. β€’ Automate deployments using AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform. β€’ Monitor, debug, and optimize performance of serverless applications using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other tools. β€’ Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. β€’ Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices. β€’ Stay up to date with AWS best practices and services relevant to serverless architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications: β€’ 8+ years of experience in cloud-native development with AWS. β€’ Proficiency in at least one Lambda-compatible language: Node.js, Python, Java, or Go. β€’ Experience with AWS Lambda and integrating it with services like API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, etc. β€’ Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices. β€’ Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform. β€’ Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of serverless applications. β€’ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher certification. β€’ Experience with serverless frameworks like Serverless Framework or Chalice. β€’ Background in full-stack or backend development. β€’ Experience in working in agile environments.
