Role description
Insight Global is hiring for an AWS Platform Developer to support the development of internal services for a leading ecommerce client. The AWS Platform Developer will closely work with key internal stakeholders to drive and deliver cloud-native solutions for the client and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale their AWS infrastructure deployments as they expand. The AWS Platform Developer will refine operational procedures, develop new tooling, and constantly think proactively and innovatively in an ambiguous, collaborative environment.
Must Haves:
• Experience as a cloud platform developer with deployments for large-scale AWS environments with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure development including Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS.
• Software development experience with proven expertise in at least one programming language (Python and Typescript)
• Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture with experience working with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Plusses:
• Previous Amazon Experience would be extremely Ideal
