Role description
We are looking for an experienced Azure API Management (APIM) professional with strong SAP integration experience to help design and manage secure, scalable APIs for enterprise SAP environments.
🔹 What You’ll Do
• Design and implement Azure API Management as an enterprise API gateway
• Integrate APIM with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and SAP CPI
• Secure APIs using OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, JWT, and mTLS
• Implement rate limiting, throttling, caching, and API versioning
• Monitor and optimize API performance using Azure Monitor & App Insights
• Collaborate with SAP, cloud, and architecture teams on integration strategy
🔹 What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of API & integration experience
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management
• Strong SAP integration background (OData / REST / SOAP)
• Experience with SAP CPI, PI/PO, or Azure Logic Apps
• Solid understanding of API security & governance
🔹 Nice to Have
• Azure certifications (AZ-204 / AZ-305)
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
• SAP S/4HANA modernization experience
