Job Description:
The Entitlements team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure using native Azure components and apps on the Spring framework. You will be responsible for leading the development of Cloud Infrastructure leveraging automation, collaborating with DevOps teams to build CICD pipelines, and establishing best practices for the team.
- Be a self-starter who can pick up new technologies, handle ambiguity, and drive initiatives forward.- Architect and design cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while considering operational concerns and non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, and backups.- Develop Infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CICD pipelines needed to deploy application code and streamline deployment processes.- Implement solutions that adhere to cloud security principles, including Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, and Network Security.- Build solutions that implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, specifically around monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management, and disaster recovery.- Respond to security findings identified by security teams, implementing remediation measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.- Design solutions with operational concerns in mind, including non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, backups, and restore procedures.- Mentor junior team members on cloud architecture principles, best practices, and emerging technologies.
