Role description
Azure Cloud Data Architecture
β’ Design endβtoβend data architectures using Azure services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, Azure Functions, and Azure Purview.
β’ Develop scalable lakehouse and data mesh architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
β’ Define best practices for storage layers (Raw/Bronze, Curated/Silver, Semantic/Gold).
Data Modeling & Data Vault
β’ Lead the design of Data Vault 2.0 models including Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT tables, and Bridge tables.
β’ Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise analytics.
β’ Implement dimensional models (Star/Snowflake) for BI and reporting layers.
β’ Ensure modeling standards, naming conventions, and metadata practices are followed.
