Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Remote (NYC, NY) – Occasional onsite visits as needed
Duration: Long-term contract

Job description:
- Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), host pools, and profiles
- Handle Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, firewalls) and storage (Azure Files / NetApp Files)
- Manage subscriptions, billing, ARM templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
- Implement security (Azure AD, RBAC, encryption)
- Monitor and troubleshoot using Azure Monitor and Redis Insights
Tools & Technologies
- Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell
- Redis CLI, Redis Insight
- Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus
- Docker (basic knowledge)
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with Azure cloud platform
- 1+ year Redis experience
- Familiarity with Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Certification (Any of one): Azure Developer Associate / Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Redis Certified Developer or Administrator
Redis (Optional / Preferred)
- Redis clustering, replication, persistence, and performance optimization
- Azure Redis Cache configuration, scaling, security, and monitoring
- Backup, disaster recovery, patching, and integration with Azure services
- Azure Redis Cache configuration, scaling, and performance tuning
