Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer (Terraform & GitLab) Location: Weehawken, New Jersey, 100% Onsite Contract position Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in provisioning and managing Azure services using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and strong skills in developing automation scripts and building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources using Terraform with best practices for Infrastructure as Code. • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for automated application builds, testing, and deployments. • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar) to streamline operational tasks. • Implement cloud governance, security, and compliance standards in Azure environments. • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of applications. • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and performance. • Maintain version control, documentation, and configuration management for all infrastructure and deployment processes. • Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure automation and delivery workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven hands-on experience provisioning and managing Azure services. • Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Experience building and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python. • Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity management. • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer Expert). • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
