Role: Data Engineer Category Skill/Experience Ab Initio - Understand and write Ab Initio graphs/code/templates - Perform log analysis - Use Ab Initio Control Center for batch monitoring - Handle job failures and BAU support Azure - Monitor Azure dashboards (App Insights) - Monitor ADF (Azure Data Factory) pipelines - Debug Azure Databricks code Scripting - Develop and support Unix shell scripts - Automate manual tasks Monitoring & Support - Perform system monitoring and maintenance - Support patching activities and restart resource pools - Maintain system health - Provide support across shifts/weekends as required Analysis & SQL - Perform adhoc SQL queries based on business needs - Perform impact analysis of upstream/downstream changes Communication & Soft Skills - Communicate effectively with stakeholders (verbal and written) - Represent data teams in war rooms/incident calls - Suggest process improvements Defect Management - Report and create defects, provide temporary fixes
