Azure Data Engineer

Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Type: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Note: We are looking for Azure Data Engineer with Azure Data Services. Visa: Independent Visa Holders. Job Overview We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to build and support data pipelines and data platforms in Microsoft Azure. This role will focus on moving, transforming, and organizing data so it can be used for reporting, analytics, and business applications. Responsibilities • Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure tools • Design and manage data solutions in Azure • Work with source systems to ingest data into Azure • Transform and clean data for reporting and analytics • Support data warehouses and data lakes • Monitor and troubleshoot data jobs and failures • Work with analysts and BI developers to support reporting needs • Improve performance and reliability of data pipelines • Document data flows and processes Required Skills Must have experience with P&C Insurance • Hands-on experience with Azure data services • Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools • Strong SQL skills • Experience with data warehouses and data modeling • Experience working with Azure SQL, Synapse, or similar • Understanding of data lakes and file formats (Parquet, CSV, etc.) • Good problem-solving and communication skills Preferred (Nice to Have) • Experience with Databricks or Spark • Experience with Python • Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines • Knowledge of Power BI and supporting BI teams • Azure certifications (DP-203 or similar)
