Position Overview We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer / PostgreSQL Developer to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on Azure Data Factory (ADF), PostgreSQL development, Medallion Architecture, Power BI reporting, and enterprise data integration across multiple platforms and data sources. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, data architecture, application integration, SQL optimization, and dashboard development. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Create and manage network connections within ADF for internal and external data sources • Support enterprise data integration and value realization initiatives • Design and implement Medallion Architecture-based data solutions • Work with application architecture, APIs, and enterprise integration frameworks • Analyze existing data models and support third-party platform integrations • Design, write, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL SQL queries • Extract, aggregate, cleanse, and transform large datasets from multiple systems • Create custom tables, views, stored procedures, and functions for reporting and analytics • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports with interactive visualizations • Connect Power BI to PostgreSQL and manage data models and relationships • Implement drilldowns, filters, bookmarks, and custom reporting functionality • Validate and maintain data quality, consistency, and completeness across datasets • Collaborate with technical and business teams to support analytics and reporting initiatives Required Qualifications • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, application integration, or enterprise data architecture • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and enterprise data integration • Experience configuring ADF connectivity across internal and external network environments • Strong expertise in Medallion Architecture • Strong PostgreSQL development and SQL optimization experience • Experience designing application integration and API-based solutions • Experience with enterprise data architecture and data modeling • Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports • Experience integrating Power BI with PostgreSQL data sources • Experience working with large-scale enterprise datasets • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data validation skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics modernization initiatives • Experience working with third-party enterprise platforms and tools • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and integration frameworks • Experience supporting fully remote Agile delivery environments Why Join 4A • Be part of a mission-driven, women-owned consulting firm with a reputation for excellence. • Work on high-impact projects across federal and commercial clients. • Collaborate in an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where innovation is valued. • Access career development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities. • Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work options, and a focus on work-life balance.
