Azure Data Engineer

Summary: The Enterprise Architecture team in partnership with the Information Security Data Operations team are working on a project to centralize Proofpoint data suite in the CyberDW (i.e., Adaptive DLP, TRAP/TAP and CASB). To achieve success, this individual will be required to analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources required for this effort in the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse. Roles and Responsibilities: • Function as a development resource in the Information Security Data Operations team and a technical liaison between the Data Owners, Security Architecture, Enterprise Information Protection, and the Security Engineering teams. • Responsible for timely follow-ups and routine updates to the CyberDW sprint schedule as well as adherence to the internal IT SDLC agile processes. • Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. • Develop data pipelines, implement data lakes, ensure data security and compliance. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years required (10+ years preferred) within enterprise data environments • Azure certifications, experience with Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks. • Relevant certifications ideally with Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory, etc.
