Role description
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major banking transformation programme, supporting two strategically important initiatives across Compliance and Technology. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong business analysis experience within financial services who can operate across multiple workstreams, engage senior stakeholders, and drive requirements through the full project lifecycle. About the Project s Global Compliance Platform (G-CO P)The Global Compliance Platform programme is a strategic initiative focused on identifying, selecting, and implementing a unified suite of compliance systems. The platform will support consistent and effective monitoring of Financial Crime risk across the bank's international operation s.The successful candidate will play a key role in defining business requirements, producing project documentation, and authoring Target Operating Models to support the future-state operating environmen t. Kofax Upgrade Progra mmeThis project involves the technical upgrade of the Kofax application and supporting infrastructure to address End-of-Service-Life requirements and ensure the continued delivery of critical fax servic es.The role requires an experienced Business Analyst who can gather requirements, conduct process analysis, manage stakeholders, and support future-state solution design. Functional knowledge of Kofax is beneficial but not essenti al. Key Responsibili • tiesGather, analyse, and document business and functional requireme • nts.Produce and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Target Operating Models (TOMs), and Technical Design Overview (TDO) documentat • ion.Obtain stakeholder review and approval of project documentat • ion.Work closely with business users, technology teams, and subject matter experts throughout the project lifecy • cle.Develop and present solution options and recommendations to stakehold • ers.Support the design and documentation of future-state processes and operating mod • els.Define testing strategies and create test plans and test ca • ses.Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (U • AT).Analyse and present testing outcomes and recommendati • ons.Prepare regular project and workstream status repo • rts.Ensure project documentation is accurate, current, and appropriately gover • ned.Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues where requi • red.Provide subject matter expertise to wider technology and business initiati • ves.Support application upgrade activities and assess integration and infrastructure impa • cts.Foster a delivery-focused culture that promotes collaboration, responsiveness, and business va • lue.Comply with relevant governance, security, and compliance requireme • nts.Build strong relationships across business and technology te ams. Required Skills & Exper • ienceProven Business Analyst experience within banking or financial serv • ices.Ability to quickly understand new subject areas and complex business proce • sses.Sound knowledge of project delivery methodologies and the full project lifec • ycle.Experience producing proposals, scope documents, requirements documentation, and testing artef • acts.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational le • vels.Experience in data analysis and data reconcilia • tion.Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to query and investigate data.
