Must haves:
β’ 10+ years of Azure Engineering related experience
β’ Experience administering azure cloud
β’ Subscription Management, Security and Monitoring and the ability to provision system resources
β’ Experience managing Azure PaaS services and integration platforms.
β’ Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
β’ (e.g., ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
β’ Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Application Insights.
β’ Familiarity with Azure security practices including RBAC and Key Vault.
Day to day β
Insight Global is searching for an Azure Platform Architect to sit locally at one of our simulation software engineering clients. The Azure Platform Engineer role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our Azure-based services and integration platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support and optimize our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Azure PaaS Management: Administer and maintain Azure services including Container Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management to ensure high availability and performance.
β’ Integration Services Support: Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory, and other integration tools to maintain seamless system connectivity.
β’ DevOps Pipeline Management: Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automate deployment processes.
β’ System Monitoring & Incident Response: Utilize Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Application Insights to detect and resolve performance issues and outages promptly.
β’ Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices through RBAC, Key Vault management, and compliance monitoring across Azure environments.
β’ Documentation & Optimization: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and runbooks, and continuously improve infrastructure for cost and performance efficiency.
