Job Description Summary:
As a hands-on Azure MEEID SME, you will support an integrated team to design and develop a single sign-on (SSO) solution for a State government agency federating multiple, discrete Identity Providers (IdPs). Specifically, this position will be responsible for developing a solution that successfully correlates and reconciles identities for users from multiple Identity and Service Providers to establish a single, authoritative identity profile. This will include the review and analysis of existing Azure custom policies to help confirm the requirements and key operational assumptions. As the MEEID SME, you will be responsible for coordinating with various vendors, both external and internal to the State agency. The scope of the program includes systems modernization, managed services, process development for cloud services provisioning, data integration across modules, and enhancing cloud capabilities to solve mission problems.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
β’ Leverage your expertise with Microsoft CIAM (Customer Identity Access Management) tools, in general, and MEEID in particular to define and design an effective and efficient single sign-on solution
β’ Configure user journeys that include single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and role-based access functionality
β’ Work with identity providers to configure and exchange meta data needed to establish trust relationships
β’ Support the test team in issue remediation
β’ Develop supporting design documentation
β’ Conduct sprint planning in concert with the project teams
β’ Engage the product owners to achieve timely resolution of design questions and issues
β’ Provide support and guidance for members of the Agile development team in the development and validation of the different SSO components
β’ Work with the project team to elicit, elaborate and refine the functional and technical requirements
β’ Work with the team to help adopt best practices for software development and execution
WHAT YOUβLL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
β’ Bachelors degree in computer science or other related field
Required Experience:
β’ 10+ years of related experience including 8+ years of experience working with CIAM (Customer Identity Access Management) solutions.
β’ At least some hands-on experience working with Azure MEEID to support the development of SSO solutions leveraging multiple IdPs
β’ In depth experience with authentication protocols including OpenID Connect and SAML
β’ Full SDLC experience working in waterfall and agile environments in an Azure environment
β’ Experience working with identity management solutions such as Azure Business to Consumer (B2C)
β’ In depth understanding of the requirements elaboration process and the associated artifacts used in various stages of the SDLC
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Hands on experience working in an Agile environment
β’ Proven ability to work independently while serving as an integral member of the team.
