As part of the Human Data Team, you’ll annotate, evaluate, and refine AI-generated code across multiple programming languages, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability for production environments. What You’ll Do • Curate high-quality code examples and precise solutions across Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go • Evaluate and refine AI-generated code for reliability and best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding workflows and benchmark model performance • Improve annotation tools and datasets that advance AI reasoning in software engineering Ideal Qualifications • 5+ years of professional backend development experience • Proficiency in Python and Node.js, plus familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis • Strong grasp of security principles, async processing, and testing frameworks • (Bonus) Docker, React/TypeScript familiarity, or previous AI/ML exposure Details • Pay: $45–$100/hr (USD, depending on experience) • Full-time, remote contractor role under Mercor • Weekly payments via Stripe Connect • Option to work remotely or in-office (Palo Alto, CA) Help advance AI that can reason about and generate world-class code — while working alongside engineers shaping the future of intelligent software systems.
