Backend Services Developer

We re seeking a true backend developer with DevOps expertise to join our integrated engineering team. You'll help scale cloud-native microservices in Kubernetes and ensure production system reliability across globally distributed environments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and scale microservices running on Kubernetes (AWS)
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and vendor teams to meet project goals
• Enhance architecture while preserving system integrity and uptime
• Debug production issues and implement long-term solutions
• Write and execute integration and performance tests for E2E systems
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years software development in production environments
• Strong experience with:
• Backend Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, NestJS
• DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm
• AWS: EKS, EC2, RDS, MSK, OpenSearch, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM
• Other Tech: Kafka, MySQL (incl. sharding), Elasticsearch, Swagger, OAuth
Preferred:
• Frontend experience with React.js
• Familiarity with modern observability and reliability best practices
