Backend/AWS Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Backend AWS Engineer to join a leader in the telecommunication industry.

What you'll do:

   • Develop excellent quality software

   • Participate in the full software lifecycle, including support and continuous integration

   • Contribute to the technical direction of the team

   • Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team

   • Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers

   • Work with internal teams, external vendors and colleagues in the US

   • Quickly build prototypes and work with top brains in ML across the industry

Must haves:

   • Experience as an AWS Software Developer

   • AWS certification

   • Back-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

   • Experience with API and Microservices

   • Experience working with Node.js Python, React, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync/GraphQL, API Gateway, Step Functions etc

   • Expertise in working and following the best practices of using AWS serverless.

   • Proven ability to refactor and write performant and clean code

   • Experience writing, reviewing and testing your own and teammates’ code

   • Restless attitude and a drive to always make things better and quicker

   • Experience in a fast pace environment

   • Experience working with CI/CD in an agile team

Plusses:

   • Experience with AWS CDK Platform
