Role description
Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager (Hybrid) Location: East Kilbride (Onsite) Contract: 3 months (initial) | Outside IR35 Day Rate: Competitive About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager for an initial 3-month contract based in East Kilbride. The successful candidate will join an exciting fast paced financial services environment, supporting critical projects focused on regulatory compliance and risk management. Experience Required: β€’ Proven experience as a BA/PM hybrid in banking or financial services (Prior exposure to project management activities is essential). β€’ Prior delivery of General Ledger system replacement or major finance transformation projects (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc). β€’ Solid background in regulatory reporting (e.g., COREP, FINREP, Basel III, BOE). β€’ Comfortable operating in both Agile and Waterfall environments. β€’ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead the end-to-end delivery of a General Ledger replacement project, including requirements gathering, system integration, data migration, and testing. β€’ Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to define and implement regulatory reporting solutions (e.g. COREP, FINREP, BOE reports). β€’ Translate complex regulatory requirements into functional specifications and work with IT to ensure delivery is aligned. β€’ Create and maintain project artefacts including BRDs, FRDs, RAID logs, test cases, and cutover plans. β€’ Manage stakeholder engagement across Finance, Risk, Tech, and third-party vendors. β€’ Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off processes with finance and reporting stakeholders. β€’ Drive project governance activities: steering committee packs, status reporting, and issue tracking.
