Role description
Business Intelligence Analyst
Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis: Work closely with Product stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements for product Telemetry data. Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Documentation: Create detailed and clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Product stakeholders and the implementation team, ensuring clear and effective communication. Collaborate with developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to facilitate the successful delivery of software solutions.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes and ensure data integrity within applications. Identify data-driven insights to enhance application functionality and user experience.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to contribute to the evolution of the application engineering process. Project Management: Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with business objectives.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and aligning with legal regulations.
Work in an Agile environment practicing industry standard processes and tooling to deliver work faster, which include the participation in team sprints, retrospective meetings, and key partner discussions.
Work closely with the partners across IT and Business Units.
Partnering with internal operational, architectural and security teams to understand inter dependencies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Product Engineering unit Proficient in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies. Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
Experience with tools like Aha, Jira, Jira align
Proficiency with the MS Office suite; advanced user experience with Excel
Data visualization tools, such as Tableau
Experience performing Data Analysis, data cleansing, and sophisticated data manipulation techniques
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data modeling and database concepts.
3 + years of experience in business intelligence, business analysis, data analysis, reporting development
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of project management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, highly motivated individual who takes the initiative without waiting for directions and can work independently without constant guidance. Capable of creating and delivering presentations at a management or executive level.
