BI and Data Analyst

Job Title: BI and Data Analyst Location: Virtual-US Duration: 12 Months (Multi Year Contract) Key Responsibilities: • Create queries, sort, and assess large volumes of data utilizing AWS analytics services, SQL, Python, and Tableau • Drive architecture and deliver custom solutions on the AWS platform, focusing on analytics and warehousing capabilities • Develop processes and simple data pipelines to improve reporting efficiencies • Perform ad-hoc reports and analysis to support multiple security divisions • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ingest volumes of data, policy, and program points • Manage data sets used by security analysts and operators, including facility and employee data Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations • Experience using AWS services, including Redshift, Athena, and Kinesis • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau, with the ability to create ad-hoc queries for various purposes • Superior proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office programs • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in a relevant field • 4+ years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence • Familiarity with intelligence analysis tools and tradecraft • Experience briefing senior leadership
