BI Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary Our client is seeking a BI Data Analytics Engineer to join their team! They are looking for someone with strong data warehousing concepts and experience using AI tools such as Claude and Cursor for coding. Core Responsibilities • Work with highly confidential financial data • Transform raw data into usable reporting layers (bronze, silver, gold) • Migrate existing MicroStrategy reports with web-based applications • Leverage AI tools extensively for coding • Consolidate and model data from multiple sources Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) • 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and BI analytics • Strong understanding of data modeling and structuring data for consumption across BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI) • Strong experience with MicroStrategy (preferred), Tableau, or Power BI • Recent experience using AI tools (Cursor or Claude) specifically for code generation • Must understand data models and how reporting tools extract raw data Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) • 2+ years of AI experience is preferred, but flexibility exists given the maturity of these tools, as long as candidates are actively using AI for code generation in current role • React experience is a nice-to-have for web-based conversion effort • Financial industry experience is a plus but not required • Entertainment industry experience is not required Key Competencies & Behaviors • Ownership & Accountability • Analytical Problem-Solving • Adaptability & Continuous Learning Work Environment • Location: Glendale, CA Compensation & Benefits • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $90.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
