BI Data Developer (Intermediate)

IRIS Consulting is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join a growing enterprise team focused on building reliable, scalable data solutions that drive business decisions. If you enjoy working with SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud data platforms—and prefer building the data behind the reports rather than just creating dashboards—this could be a great fit. 💡 What You'll Be Doing: ✅ Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets for reporting and analytics ✅ Partner with analysts, developers, architects, and business stakeholders ✅ Design and support data models and data warehouse solutions ✅ Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integrations ✅ Ensure data accuracy, quality, performance, and scalability ✅ Support cloud-based data platforms and API integrations ✅ Document data architecture, transformations, and lineage ✅ Participate in Agile, sprint-based development teams 🛠️ What We're Looking For: ✔️ Strong SQL skills ✔️ Experience with data modeling and data warehousing ✔️ ETL development experience ✔️ Experience working with cloud data platforms ✔️ Strong communication and documentation skills ⭐ Nice to Have: • Microsoft Fabric • Power BI • API integrations • Data governance and lineage documentation • Agile/Scrum experience 📋 Additional Details: • Hybrid schedule (2 days onsite weekly) • Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential • Candidates must be able to convert to a permanent employee without sponsorship • Local Twin Cities candidates strongly preferred
