Our Client's Insights & Analytics team is growing fast, and weβre looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to help us scale our reporting and analytics capabilities.? Role Overview
As a Business Intelligence Developer, youβll build and support front-end reporting solutions and datasets used across the business. Youβll collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver clean, actionable insights. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on SQL and Power BI development.
Must-Have Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ 7+ years of Power BI experience, including DAX and dataset creation
β’ Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI report/dashboard development
β’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
β’ Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with Snowflake
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
β’ Understanding of data warehousing, ingestion, and modeling concepts
β’ Exposure to other BI, analytics, or data science tools
? Key Responsibilities
β’ Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI
β’ Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources including databases, semantic models, flat files, and spreadsheets
β’ Create semantic models in Snowflake and Power BI
β’ Optimize queries and data models in alignment with BI strategy
β’ Perform data analysis for QA and insight generation
β’ Collaborate with BI team members and cross-functional IT staff
β’ Estimate effort and identify risks for reporting tasks
β’ Enhance user experience through drilldowns, filters, and visualizations
β’ Ensure compliance with security and authentication standards
β’ Support ongoing development and cleanup efforts across multiple project
