London (Hybrid) | 6-Month Contract |Insurance
A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong Sigma Computing expertise to join their data and analytics function on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has invested heavily in a modern cloud data platform, with Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse and Sigma Computing as the strategic reporting and analytics tool.
We are looking for a highly skilled BI Developer who can leverage data within Snowflake and build intuitive, business-facing dashboards and reporting solutions through Sigma. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decision-making.What You'll Be Doing
• Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions in Sigma Computing
• Building and maintaining Sigma Workbooks, Datasets, and visualisations
• Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions
• Creating KPI reporting and management dashboards across insurance functions
• Writing complex SQL queries and working directly with data within Snowflake
• Supporting the adoption of self-service BI capabilities across the business
• Collaborating with Data Engineering teams to optimise reporting performance and data accessibility
• Ensuring reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business requirementsWhat We're Looking For
• Proven experience as a BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer, or Analytics Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Sigma Computing
• Experience building dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Sigma
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills
• Ability to communicate complex data and insights to non-technical audiencesDesirable Experience
