Role description
Must Haves:
β’ 3+ years of experience as a report writer or BI developer
β’ Experience building SSRS reports from scratch and maintaining existing reports
β’ Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
β’ Hands-on experience with Power BI data connectivity (connecting to various data sources)
β’ Proficiency with Power BI Advanced Editor (M code / Power Query transformations)
β’ Experience writing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, and advanced analytics
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Power BI Responsibilities (50%):
β’ Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs
β’ Connect to various data sources using Power BIβs data connectivity tools
β’ Use Power BI Advanced Editor (M code) for complex data transformations
β’ Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Power BI reports
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights
β’ Provide support and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues
SSRS Responsibilities (50%):
β’ Design and develop new SSRS reports based on client requirements
β’ Update and maintain existing SSRS reports to ensure accuracy and relevance
β’ Run SQL queries to gather data for report generation
β’ Modify SQL scripts to meet specific reporting needs
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve SSRS-related issues
β’ Document report development processes and maintain detailed records of client requirements
Compensation:
$45-55hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
