BI Report Developer

Must Haves: • 3+ years of experience as a report writer or BI developer • Experience building SSRS reports from scratch and maintaining existing reports • Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards • Hands-on experience with Power BI data connectivity (connecting to various data sources) • Proficiency with Power BI Advanced Editor (M code / Power Query transformations) • Experience writing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, and advanced analytics Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Power BI Responsibilities (50%): • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs • Connect to various data sources using Power BI’s data connectivity tools • Use Power BI Advanced Editor (M code) for complex data transformations • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Power BI reports • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights • Provide support and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues SSRS Responsibilities (50%): • Design and develop new SSRS reports based on client requirements • Update and maintain existing SSRS reports to ensure accuracy and relevance • Run SQL queries to gather data for report generation • Modify SQL scripts to meet specific reporting needs • Troubleshoot and resolve SSRS-related issues • Document report development processes and maintain detailed records of client requirements Compensation: $45-55hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
