Role description
Responsibilities A client with Kforce is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst I to join their team in Mountain View, CA. Key Tasks: β€’ Analyze and research large data sets and translate insights into risk and business opportunities/requirements β€’ Design and scale risk processes to cover an increasingly large and complex landscape of small business risks given our rapidly expanding user base β€’ Design, implement, and monitor experiments to explore new methodologies and estimate key metrics for risk operational processes effectiveness and efficiency β€’ Perform quantitative and business trade off decisions to improve risk operation processes to prevent fraud in payments, payroll and capital loan products β€’ Work with product managers, data engineers and technology teams to enhance/enrich our data ecosystem/risk data marts to quickly scale our risk operational processes and risk mitigation strategies with an expanding user base and with new product rollouts β€’ Deliver ideas and insights as you collaborate with partner teams, such as engineering, data science and operations to build risk detection systems that drives overall efficiency, customer experience and agent investigation capabilities Requirements β€’ Strong business acumen with 2+ years of work experience in related fields/positions β€’ Advanced SQL and Python (2-5 years) β€’ Comfortable writing complex SQL queries that combine data from various tables, (e.g. CTEs, temporary tables and Python for data cleaning, analytics, and predictive modeling/ML Tableau and Databricks) (2-5 years) β€’ Data Platforms (2+ years) experience working with Redshift/Databricks/Jupyter Notebooks β€’ Experience in statistical analysis and adept in tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Excel β€’ Domain expertise in payments, payroll and Capital loans risk management and exposure to agent-based risk operations processes senior for manual case reviews is ideal for this role β€’ Worked in a diverse and challenging environment to drive growth, customer experience and profitability β€’ Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams β€’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies β€’ Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsive and available during times of peak fraud activity β€’ Strong organization and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities β€’ Effectively able to communicate fraud strategy and results to the leadership team β€’ Effectively able to work with product and technology teams to build risk solutions and collaborate with risk operations to operationalize solutions and get feedback β€’ Should bring a high level of enthusiasm to the projects and the ability to organize and motivate large groups; This includes taking initiative, ownership and responsibility for a project β€’ Must have good judgment with the ability to think critically and strategically β€’ Highly proficient in building effective data visualizations using Tableau and Databricks Management tools GitHub, JIRA, Wiki Bonus Tools/Skills Pycharm, DataGrip, SuperGlue, Tidal, Flask, Spark, Plotly The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
