Role description
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst I to join their team either onsite in San Diego or Mountain View, CA. This client is open to remote work but must work PT hours. Duties:
β’ Performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining
β’ Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations
β’ Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements
β’ May help to produce ad hoc data and reports
β’ Assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information
β’ May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts
β’ Provides analytics support to system users and customer support staff
β’ Evaluates user needs, use Agile methodology to articulate analytics requirements, define technical problems and work with engineering/development staff to determine solutions
β’ Build data products such as reports, metrics, analytics solutions, predictive algorithms for Web analytics
β’ Continuously improve delivery methods to enhance the learner experience
β’ Support content development, incorporating SME (subject matter expert) content to design engaging on- demand and live training, and events
β’ Management of on-demand training programs, live workshops and conferences
β’ Strategy development for Company Academy - how to grow, scale and optimize throughout the program lifecycle for learners
β’ Define KPIs/Metrics to Measure the success of training, course offerings and ongoing program outcomes/Marketing funnel/Customer engagement/retention
β’ Support certification and credentialing programs that meet business and industry needs
Requirements
β’ Technical Undergraduate degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, etc.) or equivalent experience
β’ Hands-on experience in any reporting tool: Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics
β’ Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools and experience with eLearning platforms
β’ Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena, and AWS core concepts)
β’ Familiarity with Data modeling and schema design
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
β’ Advanced SQL skills to get the data you need from a data warehouse and perform data segmentation and aggregation from scratch
β’ Data query and data processing tools/systems (e.g., relational, NoSQL, stream processing)
β’ Ability to grasp quickly and get up to speed on instrumentation, clickstream data, data architecture, and complex business system interactions such as Salesforce; GCP, Big Query a must
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
