BI Reporting Analyst

Our client, a leader in Financial and Tax Software, is looking for someone to join their team as a BI Reporting Analyst. This role is hybrid in Mountain View, CA. • This is a 7-month W2 contract • In this role, you’ll support the development and maintenance of BI tools, synthesize business trends, and ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate intelligence to guide strategy. What You Will Be Doing • Disseminate updates on tools, reports, and metadata enhancements • Conduct and coordinate testing to ensure data and reporting accuracy • Maintain and update BI tools, dashboards, databases, and related systems • Analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications • Provide technical support for reports, dashboards, and analytical tools • Review technical design documentation to ensure accurate reporting solutions • Document specifications for BI reports, dashboards, and outputs • Gather BI data from industry reports, public sources, field reports, and purchased datasets • Analyze technology and competitive trends to support product and market strategy Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Strong analytical skills • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik Sense Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
