You’ll join a financial services group investing heavily in their enterprise data strategy. While the engineering team handles ingestion and integration, you’ll own the reporting layer – building user-centric, impactful data products for Risk, Finance, and Front Office teams. This isn’t just about charts – it’s about delivering strategic insight and value through strong design, governance, and stakeholder engagement. What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead the delivery of reporting solutions using Power BI (some Tableau/Qlik) • Work with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Front Office • Shape and deliver a presentation-ready data platform in Azure • Build and manage a reporting delivery pipeline – from spec to production support • Hire and lead a small team of reporting engineers (UK + offshore) • Challenge developers constructively and stay hands-on where needed • Support governance, user adoption, and best practice reporting design What You Need: • Strong Power BI / data visualisation expertise • Experience building reporting platforms in enterprise financial environments • Great presentation and stakeholder engagement skills • Understanding of governance, reporting controls, and platform maintenance • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform and modern data tooling • Experience in financial services (capital markets preferred) If you’ve built reports that turn heads, guided devs and stakeholders toward clarity, and want to own the front-end layer of a strategic data platform — this is your contract. 📩 Apply via the link or for a faster response, email Barry.Ansell@HarringtonStarr.com
