Job Overview

As a member of the product team, reporting to the Product Management and Implementation Director, you will be responsible for creating new reports and dashboards using existing reporting and BI tools for use by customers of three similar clinical products within the CKG portfolio. The role will be technical in nature, requiring you to use tools such as Jaspersoft studio and Microsoft Power BI to build quality reports and dashboards that can be integrated with those products. In addition to building standard reporting offerings, you will be expected to meet with customers to understand their reporting requirements and translate those into custom report solutions to sell on a professional services basis. You must be a good communicator, team player with the flexibility to manage their workload and work directly with customers, the CKG product team and development teams, ensuring quality reports and dashboards are delivered on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities

   • Use of Jaspersoft Studio and other BI tools to write and maintain reports and dashboards for customers.

   • Collaborate with Product Managers, customers and other business stakeholders to convert report specifications into report and data visualisation designs.

   • Work directly with customers to ensure delivered reports and dashboards meet customer needs.

   • Create reports across three similar business products, creating relevant content for our customers.

   • Establish a general jasper training program with deliverables for each product

   • Sell bespoke reporting and dashboarding to customers.

   • Thoroughly test reports prior to delivery into production.

   • Work with development team to ensure smooth integration of reports and dashboards with existing applications e.g. in-place viewing and drill-down capabilities.

   • Maintain existing customer reports using different report writing technologies as appropriate.

   • Convert legacy Crystal Reports to Jaspersoft reports using Jaspersoft Studio.

   • Contribute to the team's knowledge base and assist with problem-solving.

   • Actively participate in Agile development processes currently in use.

   • Update the customer ticketing system and interface with Support where necessary.

Experience/Qualifications Required

   • Essential - Must have experience in report design using Jaspersoft Studio, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services or similar tools.

   • Essential - Must have experience in designing data visualisations using BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Jaspersoft Dashboards.

   • Essential - Good working knowledge of databases and efficient extraction of data using complex SQL queries.

   • Essential - Able to convert raw data into meaningful data visualisations as prototypes and convert these into marketable dashboards.

   • Essential - Good problem solving and communication skills.

   • Desirable - Experience with GitHub or similar developer platforms for source control and documentation is desirable.
