job summary: Our client is looking for a BI/Data Analytics Lead for a 12 month contract opportunity. This role is hybrid required 3-4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The Lead will serve as a strategic leader in the organization, advocating for data-driven decision-making and promoting the adoption of business intelligence tools and practices. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs, develop insights, and drive business performance improvements. location: Saint Louis, Missouri job type: Contract salary: $45 - 52 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: β€’ Data Advocacy: Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization by demonstrating the value of business intelligence tools and analytics. β€’ Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions. β€’ Tool Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of BI tools and platforms, ensuring they meet organizational requirements. β€’ Training and Support: Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on BI tools, data visualization, and analytics best practices. β€’ Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives. β€’ Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. β€’ Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing BI processes and recommend enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency. β€’ Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for BI-related inquiries, fostering strong relationships with business leaders and teams. β€’ Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor metrics to assess the effectiveness of BI initiatives and their impact on business outcomes. qualifications: Education Experience Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Years: 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles. Field: Data Analytics, BI or related field Field: Information Technology. skills: Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, ), SQL, and data visualization techniques. β€’ Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. β€’ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. β€’ Leadership: Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in adopting BI practices. β€’ Worth Ethics: work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and able to take ownership of work, Results-oriented, with the initiative to complete tasks thoroughly.
