Genesis10 is currently seeking a Big Data Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: • Implement, configure and operate a greenfield data analytics platform on top of SDP(HAAS) • Provide guidance to development partners for data collection, database schemas and presentation layers • Develop and maintain a systems architecture that will address existing and emergent business requirements • Socialize and validate the systems architecture with other business units • Database Schema Design and Documentation • Partner with the Product Owners and Engineering Teams to engineer data collection solutions • Engineer and Configure Database Solution including schema's queries and analytics • Partner with colleagues to implement appropriate data models and views • Operational support for Data Lake on SDP Requirements: • Experienced Big Data Developer with good knowledge of Hadoop and Spark • Highly desirable to architect and build data pipelines • Previously worked within Agile environments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Good knowledge of Hadoop Concepts, HIVE, RDBMS concepts along with advance SQL, Spark, Python Desired skills: • Kafka, Autosys, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Ansible, SQOOP, Unix Shell Scripting Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
