Role description
Job Title: BigFix Developer Location: Atlanta, GA (ONSITE) Position Type: Contract Length: Long Term Start: ASAP Interview process: 1 – 2 Rounds. Skills and Experiences: β€’ Expertise in using HCL BigFix (formerly IBM BigFix). β€’ Strong background in systems administration, endpoint management, and security concepts. β€’ Develop and deploy custom fixlets, tasks and baseline for software distribution, patch management, configuration enforcement and compliance β€’ Experience integrating BigFix with ServiceNow/VR β€’ BigFix REST API usage (scripting, reporting, external tool integration) β€’ Create custom reports and dashboards using web reports β€’ Experience with scripting (Relevance language, Action script, PowerShell, shell scripting) β€’ Solid understanding of BES architecture. β€’ Automate patch management processes and ensure timely deployment of OS β€’ Collaborate with security and compliance teams to support vulnerability management and remediations efforts β€’ Familiarity with patch management tools and processes. β€’ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. β€’ Strong communication and collaboration skills. β€’ Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, AIX). β€’ Understanding of security best practices.
