Billing Data Associate

This is a hybrid onsite role in Portland, Maine. Benefits: • Hybrid work environment (3 days onsite) • Healthcare Medical including HSA • Dental and Vision Insurance • 401k Required Skills: • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling) and familiarity with financial systems such as SAP or subscription management tools like ChargeBee. • Strong deductive reasoning and analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve billing and data discrepancies. • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple data inputs and deliver high-quality, error-free reports. What will your day look like? As a Billing Data Analyst you will: • Perform a variety of support activities to meet the financial and data reporting needs of the business. • Build, modify, and maintain spreadsheets and reports summarizing key metrics and trends for billing and operations. • Run reports from databases and financial systems, refreshing and reformatting data as needed for analysis and presentation. • Research and locate data sources, set up data feeds, and coordinate information flows between internal systems. • Partner with internal teams to resolve data or billing issues, answer questions, and prioritize tasks to support daily operations and projects. • Identify and recommend process or reporting improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency. You will be a good fit for the Billing Data Analyst role if you have: • A strong computer aptitude and familiarity with data structures, spreadsheets, and databases. • Proven ability to build reports that summarize and clarify large amounts of data. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with financial or billing systems. • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred.
