Job Summary
β’ Develop, support, and manage Yocto-based embedded Linux build systems for IoT platforms (Debian/Ubuntu).
β’ Customize Linux distributions using Yocto tools and bitbake recipes.
β’ Troubleshoot build failures and provide timely solutions.
β’ Research and integrate new technologies to improve automation and build infrastructure.
β’ Design, implement, and maintain secure automation for development, test, and production environments.
β’ Manage infrastructure security, monitoring, and maintain detailed documentation of processes and protocols.
β’ Provide guidance on cloud and on-premises security best practices (IAM, network segmentation, encryption, system hardening).
β’ Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.) for embedded software projects.
β’ Use scripting languages (Python, Bitbake, Bash) for automation and build processes.
β’ Collaborate with QA and product security teams to ensure compliance and security.
β’ Employ best practices in version control (Git) and infrastructure as code.
β’ Mentor team members on security and automation best practices.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering tools, processes, and data security.
β’ Actively participate in team meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing sessions.
β’ Maintain technical curiosity and demonstrate ongoing growth.
β’ Utilize monitoring, logging, and analytics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog) and container/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Generate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) via build pipelines.
β’ Work with automation/infrastructure management tools (Ansible, Terraform); familiarity with Wix/InstallShield is a plus.
β’ Preferred: Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent experience; Cloud and Security certifications are a plus.
β’ Must have 5+ yearsβ experience in CI/CD for Linux-based embedded software, strong communication, collaboration, and experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
