Biz Ops Senior Consultant (Business Operations)
The Senior Operations Consultant leads the strategic design and implementation of operational process improvements, driving significant gains in efficiency, productivity, and alignment with business objectives. This role provides expert guidance to project teams, mentors junior consultants, and manages complex improvement initiatives across multiple departments. This role involves independently evaluating and analyzing operational processes, developing and presenting improvement proposals, and planning and managing the transition of these processes.
Education Level: Bachelorβs in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Years of Experience: 5-7 years with previous experience in consulting practices are required. Proven experience in operations management, process improvement, or a similar role.
Location: Seattle area, WA
Technical Skills:
β’ MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, OneNote.
β’ Deep knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, and external data feeds.
β’ Experience in data analysis techniques and tools (SQL, MySQL, Excel)
β’ Knowledge of Teams and SharePoint access management.
β’ Knowledge of Power BI to create and maintain simple Power BI dashboards.
β’ Hands-on knowledge with Power Automate or other automation tools (and basic Power Apps) to create simple workflows facilitating simple governance processes.

β’ Previous Microsoft job experience (Must)
β’ Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
β’ Ability to facilitate workshops with members from different organizations, cultures and levels and drive teams to conclusions.
β’ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, project management, change management.
β’ Good analytical skills to create models for data-driven decision making and visualization of business insights.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
β’ PMI or PMP certification preferred.

β’ Develop and implement comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
β’ Ensure that risk management considerations are integrated into all project plans.
β’ Monitor project progress.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
β’ Establish robust performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
β’ Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Analyze performance data.
β’ Identify areas for further optimization.
