Job Description
Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-level business process management applications using the Bizagi suite within the Comp Hub platform. Independently manage complex workflow projects, mentor junior and mid-level Bizagi developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient process automation solutions supporting workers’ compensation adjudication and claims management functions.
Education Required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
General Experience
• 10+ years of software development experience
• 6+ years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM) implementations, specifically with
Bizagi
• 4+ years of experience implementing automated BPM workflows in a workers’ compensation,
insurance, or state government claims adjudication environment
Specialized Experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Bizagi Studio, Bizagi Modeler, Bizagi Automation, and Bizagi Connectors
• Advanced proficiency in BPMN 2.0 modeling and implementation
• Strong experience with APIs and Web Services (SOAP/REST) within the Bizagi integration
framework
• Expertise in Bizagi connectors, widgets, and low-code/no-code development capabilities
• Proficiency in JavaScript for Bizagi customizations and enhanced workflow functionality
• Experience leading large-scale Bizagi implementations and enterprise process automation initiatives
• Experience with RPA technologies and their integration with Bizagi
• Demonstrated experience designing and automating workers’ compensation business processes,
including First Report of Injury (FROI) intake, hearing scheduling, adjudication workflows, medical
payment processing, and Commission order management.
• Familiarity with Maryland Workers’ Compensation Act (Code of Maryland, Labor and Employment
Article, Title 9) and IAIABC EDI standards as they apply to automated workflow design
• Experience integrating Bizagi BPM workflows with external state government systems including
Special Fund (SIF), Uninsured Employer’s Fund (UEF), or State and Federal Child Support data
exchanges.
• Working knowledge of workers’ compensation party roles (claimants, employers, insurers, attorneys, medical providers, rehabilitation practitioners) and how they map to Bizagi performer definitions and process roles.
