Purpose
Are you passionate about Robotic Process Automation (RPA)? As a Blue Prism Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary Centre of Excellence that ensures our existing RPA estate runs smoothly and efficiently.
But that's not all. You will also be able to explore other low code platforms, such as Microsoft Power Platform. There will be opportunities to migrate our RPA solutions to these platforms to align with our strategic technology vision and help us deliver more for our customers.
This is the opportunity to take on a rewarding role where you can develop your expertise in RPA and other automation platforms.
Key Accountabilities
• Operate within the Centre of Excellence, deploying best practice, providing guidance to others and ensuring adherence to the governance model.
• Support issue resolution and problem solving for existing automations in conjunction with Infrastructure and Help Desk teams as well as third parties.
• Optimise automations to ensure efficiency, high completion rates and robust exception handling.
• Maintain automations for software and other IT changes, making updates, testing and promoting into production.
• Collaborate with operational project and business stakeholders to identify, develop and support automations in the business.
• Assist with developing test plans and support the business with UAT
• Continually review and assess the delivery and management of robotic processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce exceptions
• Build knowledge on RPA developments and other automation methods
Example of Key Activities
• Analyze automation pipeline & create detailed process documentation
• Maintain and review the live automation estate to reduce exceptions and software updates or other IT changes
• Test automations built by other team members
• Building experience with other automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience of delivering and supporting Blue Prism automations is essential
• Previous experience of working within a project / programme management environment
• Knowledge of best practice for coding standards is desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is desirable
• Knowledge of other automation methods, API, C#, VB/VBA, SQL etc is desirable
• Experience of project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to support the development of an RPA best practice culture
• Capable to manage multiple projects & initiatives simultaneously and in a reactive and hands-on environment
• Ability to quickly develop understanding of end to end business processes
• Collaborative mindset with a dynamic work ethic
