BlueConic Administrator

RED Global is searching for a BlueConic Administrator for a 6 months remote contract with one of our biggest global clients! Summary Seeking a BlueConic Administrator to support day‑to‑day platform operations. This role works closely with the BlueConic vendor team, an internal Data Engineer, and the BlueConic Project Manager. The Administrator will be responsible for managing the platform, executing operational tasks, configuring capabilities within BlueConic, and guiding internal stakeholders on proper use without owning or performing any marketing or campaign‑specific responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Platform Administration & Operations • Own day‑to‑day administration of the BlueConic platform. • Monitor platform health, performance, and integrations. • Manage user access, permissions, and security settings. • Ensure data governance standards are followed within BlueConic. Execution of Requests • Receive and fulfill requests from marketing, data, and business teams. • Build or modify listeners, profile properties, segments, and consent settings as requested. • Assist with configuring connections (APIs, batch imports/exports) under guidance of the Data Engineer. • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for platform-related problems. Technical Configuration (Non‑Marketing) • Configure data collection, tagging, and tracking rules. • Support identity resolution logic (profile merges, deduping rules). • Assist with data schema organization and metadata management. • Validate data flows between BlueConic and external systems (CRM, ESP, CDP exports, etc.). • Maintain documentation for data structures, profiles, and integrations. Governance & Best Practice Guidance • Provide guidance on: • How to request segments or fields • How to structure profile attributes • How to properly use BlueConic features • Ensure the platform adheres to privacy, consent, and compliance guidelines. • Communicate platform changes, enhancements, and capabilities to stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience • Experience administering BlueConic or another Customer Data Platform (CDP). • Understanding of data flows, APIs, and integrations. • Familiarity with tagging frameworks, first‑party data collection, and identity resolution.
