Role description
Job Title: Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead Digital Transformation: Spearhead and significantly contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and designing future-state business capabilities that leverage emerging technologies to achieve strategic organizational goals.
β’ Business Process Reengineering (BPR): Conduct comprehensive analysis of current-state business processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and pain points, and design optimized, streamlined future-state processes. Lead efforts to implement reengineered processes, ensuring smooth transitions and measurable improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
β’ Strategic Business Modeling: Develop and maintain robust business architecture artifacts, including current and future state business process models (using BPMN), data models, capability models, value streams, and organizational models. Utilize various modeling tools and notations to effectively communicate complex business concepts to diverse audiences.
β’ Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Definition: Collaborate extensively with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and external partners to elicit, analyze, and validate complex business requirements. Translate strategic objectives and user needs into actionable business and functional specifications that guide solution development.
β’ Bridge Business & IT: Act as a critical liaison, ensuring seamless communication and understanding between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Articulate business impacts of technical decisions and technical implications of business requirements.
Required Qualification
β’ 12+ years of Progressive experience in a Business Architect role or similar strategic capacity, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level initiatives.
β’ 12+ years of Proven track record of successfully leading or significantly contributing to multiple large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects. Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency and ser
β’ 12+ years of Demonstrable expertise with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture), including practical application in complex system environments. Experience with MITA State Self-Assessments (SS-A) is highly desirable.
β’ 10+ years of Exceptional business modeling skills, with expert proficiency in methodologies and tools such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML), ArchiMate, and strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TO
β’ 10+ years of Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with a strong capacity to dissect complex issues and formulate pragmatic solutions.
β’ 10+ years of Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
